FAQs

Your questions answered. Learn more about our patient-focused approach and what it means for your care experience.

  • Peripheral Neuropathy is a degenerative condition where the small nerve fibers lose their ability to function properly. This usually results in burning, tingling and eventually numbness in the toes and feet. There are a wide variety of potential causes including: diabetes, chemotherapy, autoimmune conditions and other environmental causes like exposure to chemicals, heavy metals or alcohol use.

  • Our clinic has a very high success rate in reducing the uncomfortable sensations caused by peripheral neuropathy. About 8-9 out of 10 patients we treat see significant improvement resulting in a higher quality of life. Results will vary depending on the progression of the disease and a comprehensive assessment will be given on what to expect after the initial consultation.

  • Call the office to schedule your initial consultation to find out if you are a good candidate for treatment. At the consult you will talk to one of our specialists about your condition, review your medial history, have a neurological exam to determine the degree of sensory loss and potentially start treatment the very same day. The doctor will explain the treatment process and what to expect.

  • You will be in the clinic for about 20 minutes for each treatment. Our doctors utilize a combination of acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, frequency specific microcurrent protocols, and other modalities proven to be successful in treating peripheral neuropathy.  Most people are very comfortable during this time and find treatment to be extremely relaxing.

  • All insurance plans offer different coverage so when you schedule your initial consultation, we will be happy to offer a complimentary benefits check that the doctor will then go over during your consultation.
